Crispy Stuffing-Coated Chicken Breasts

Only four ingredients—and you just might have them on hand—are needed to make this savory entrée.

Ingredients

package (6 oz) Betty Crocker™ Homestyle Stuffing chicken flavor
1/4
cup butter or margarine, melted
1
egg

boneless skinless chicken breasts (4 to 5 oz each)

Directions

  • 1 Heat oven to 375°F. Spray 13x9-inch (3-quart) glass baking dish with cooking spray.
  • 2 Place stuffing crumbs in resealable food-storage plastic bag; seal bag and coarsely crush with rolling pin. In shallow bowl or pie plate, mix stuffing crumbs and butter. In another shallow bowl, beat egg with fork until well mixed.
  • 3 Dip chicken into beaten egg, then coat with stuffing mixture. Place in baking dish.
  • 4 Bake 30 to 40 minutes or until juice of chicken is clear when center of thickest part is cut (170°F).

Expert Tips

For more sage flavor, add 1 teaspoon dried sage leaves to the crushed stuffing crumbs.
