box (4-serving size) green gelatin
1
box (4-serving size) orange gelatin
1/2
cup vodka
1/3
cup frozen (thawed) whipped topping

  • 1 Heat water to boiling; pour into medium bowl. Add both boxes gelatin to boiling water; stir to dissolve. Add vodka; stir well. Add whipped topping; stir well.
  • 2 Add straws to a tall glass and carefully pour gelatin mixture over straws. Refrigerate about 2 hours or until firmly set.
  • 3 After gelatin has set, remove straws from glass. Use fingers to pinch out worms, or use a rolling pin to roll them out. Place in bowl to serve.

Expert Tips

Worms can be made alcohol free by replacing the 1/2 cup vodka with 1/2 cup cold water.

Serve worms over a bowl of crushed chocolate wafer cookies for a boozy worms-and-dirt treat.
