Ingredients

cups uncooked bow-tie (farfalle) pasta (5 oz)

tablespoons butter

oz assorted wild mushrooms (portabella, shiitake, oyster), coarsely chopped*
2
cloves garlic, finely chopped
1
can (18 oz) Progresso™ Recipe Starters™ creamy portabella mushroom cooking sauce
1/2
cup whipping cream

Garnishes, If Desired

Freshly ground black pepper
Chopped fresh parsley

  • 1 Cook and drain pasta as directed on package; set aside. In 12-inch skillet, melt butter over medium-high heat. Cook mushrooms and garlic in butter 3 to 4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until mushrooms are tender.
  • 2 Stir in cooking sauce, whipping cream and 1/4 teaspoon salt; heat to boiling. Reduce heat; simmer uncovered 10 to 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thickened. Stir in pasta; cook 2 to 3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is hot. Sprinkle with pepper and parsley.
