I followed the directions exactly but the end result did not look anything like the picture shown. The sauce was not as thick and it seemed like too much liquid, almost like tortellini was in a thick soup, and the color of the sauce was not appealing. Next time may cook sauce in a separate pan then add mushroom, onions and carrot mixture at the end.

Loved it!! Mixed it up with smoked gouda and other cheeses and refrigerated rainbow tortellini. Added grilled chicken before baking and made it a meal. Next time we'll try garlic and herb tortellini

It was appealing to me because we really love tortellini but we were both disappointed in it. I personally felt that there should have been more tortellini. But that may just be a personal preference. It sounded like a really good idea, but it simply didn't impress us as we had expected.
