I use this recipe as a starting point, but make a few modifications: Skip the sour cream; use red wine vinegar to taste instead of lemon juice; add a little red cabbage for color; add green pepper; and most important...add a little cayenne pepper for a nice kick. Everyone raves about it!

Sounds good except for the sugar. I despise sweet coleslaw. That is why I never order it in restaurants because they ruin it with sugar. I would try it without the sugar. My usual coleslaw recipe is cabbage, mayonnaise, vinegar, mustard to color, and salt and pepper to taste.

I see this recipe serves 8 and that it has a calorie-count of 110 per serving - Does anyone know what constitutes a 'serving' ?? 1/2 cup ?? It seems that I cannot submit this question until I 'select a rating'--Based on the recipe ingredients (which is almost identical to mine) -- and I love mine!! well - there you go -- 5 spoons!!! YEAH
