Creamy and Crunchy Mango Dessert

ripe large mangoes, seed removed, peeled and chopped (about 3 cups)
Grated peel of 1 lemon or lime
cup whipping cream
cup canned sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated)

cups Whole Grain TotalĀ® cereal
  1. In medium bowl, toss mangoes and lemon peel. In small bowl, mix whipping cream and condensed milk with whisk until well blended.
  2. Add cream mixture to mango mixture; gently stir to coat. Cover with plastic wrap; refrigerate at least 1 hour or until chilled.
  3. To serve, spoon mango mixture into parfait glasses or individual dessert bowls and top evenly with cereal; or spoon mixture into large serving bowl and top with cereal.

A mango is ripened when it is slightly soft to the touch.
You can make the mango-cream mixture up to a day in advance. Only add the cereal when ready to serve.
To cut down on calories, substitute YoplaitĀ® Greek plain yogurt for the whipping cream. The texture of the dessert will be different, but it will taste just as good.
