sokelenal - I never have real buttermilk in the house but I put one tablespoon of vinegar (or lemon juice) in a one cup measuring cup and then fill it with canned milk. You can use regular milk too but I seldom have that in the house either. I've never been disappointed in the results of my baking.

This was my first attempt at a cream cheese pound cake and I thought it was terrible. It was not sweet enough and tasted like a slightly sweet biscuit! I'm making a cake for someone and I'm glad I tried this recipe before making it for her! Will not use again!

This is the best pound cake i have ever tried.. Some it is quite difficult for me to find buttermilk locally, therefore i replace it with sourcream. The cake taste as good as the one make from buttermilk. One question. How to make this silicone bundt tin become non stick?

After reading the reviews I was expecting this cake to be 'iffy'...it was SO easy and extremely delicious! It was moist, not too sweet, and you wouldn't believe how easy! One of my favorite recipes ever! :D

Believe it or not! This was by far the most easy most tasty pound cake I have ever tasted. Even thought I somehow forgot cream cheese at the grocery store the first time I baked this cake: It still came out moist and oh so delicious.

A lovely chocolate drizzle adds a nice touch---I do agree with the oven temp. suggestion. Temperature matters!

I have a great tip for every one that is having trouble making this cake. What I do is that I beat the egg whites apart and add them slowly when im mixing the ingredients . The cake always comes out super moist and delicious.

I make this using 3 1/2 cups of Heart Healthy Bisquick (omitted the flour and salt),low fat cream cheese, and a low fat butter substitute stick. I also used the omega-3 eggs. It turned out very good. You have to be careful not to overcook or it will be dry. One time I poked holes in the bottom before I inverted in and poured over some orange juice to soak in (just enough to moisten, not drown)and that helped with any dryness. I think you just need to play around with this if you want your cake and want to keep it as healthy as possible!

I was happy to find this recipe, but after reading the reviews I decided to adjust it. I used 2 1/2 cups Heart Healthy Bisquick and used a whole stick of margarine. I made sure to cream the margarine and cream cheese together first. I also added half a teaspoon of cinnamon, nixed the salt and reduced the cooking time. Everyone loved it and couldn't believe it was Bisquick, it was so moist.
