I really enjoyed this recipe.I was afraid to make this cake after seeing so many bad reviews but it was delicious!it was moist and it had flavour just enough sweetness.my family enjoyed it also.I will be making again.

I'm someone who cooks lots of elaborate desserts and cakes and love pound cake but haven't found a recipe I like yet. This isn't it. This was the most flavorless cake I have ever tasted and I can't believe I wasted half a dozen eggs and all the other ingredients and it's sitting untouched except for one slice and going stale on my kitchen table. Maybe I can crumble up for the birds if they would eat it. Lousy recipe

Just tried this recipe---did not find this to be the 'moistest'. Recipe did not specify melted butter or softened - so i used softened. No spoons for you on this one!.

sokelenal - I never have real buttermilk in the house but I put one tablespoon of vinegar (or lemon juice) in a one cup measuring cup and then fill it with canned milk. You can use regular milk too but I seldom have that in the house either. I've never been disappointed in the results of my baking.

This was my first attempt at a cream cheese pound cake and I thought it was terrible. It was not sweet enough and tasted like a slightly sweet biscuit! I'm making a cake for someone and I'm glad I tried this recipe before making it for her! Will not use again!

After reading the reviews I was expecting this cake to be 'iffy'...it was SO easy and extremely delicious! It was moist, not too sweet, and you wouldn't believe how easy! One of my favorite recipes ever! :D
