I used strawberry cream cheese. It was good! No syrup neccessary.

This turned out great! I actually ended up using honeynut cream cheese though instead of pineapple because the grocery store was out of pineapple. It was still just as delicious! I made it for a Mother's Day brunch & it was a big hit. I will definitely be making it again & I definitely recommend it to anyone who loves french toast or for that matter, just loves breakfast food! :)

Awesome!!!!!!! I made some minor changes and it was even better! Add 1/4 cup cinnamon and 1/4 cip vanilla to the batter that you pour over the french toast and double the sugar! It is much better! Top it with whipped cream! Filling: mix together 2 containers of creme cheese (flavored or not), 1/2 cup powdered sugar, 1/2 heavy cream, 3tablespoons of vanilla, and 3 tablespoons of cinnamon. Beat until thick and spread un between slices! Delicious!!!!!!! Add syrup, bannanas, and whipped cream to top! AWESOME!!!!!!!!

This is excellent! I bet it would be great with any flavored cream cheese as well. I didn't make the topping but it was great with just syrup. My family loved it and I will definitely make this again. I may add some vanilla and a little more cinnamon next time.
