Otherwise known as a Cosmopolitan, my favorite cocktail with friends! Make it extra yummy and use Smirnoff Raspberry vodka and Triple Sec (not o.j.) I call it a Raspberry Cosmo but you can call it anything you like! A cab would be a good idea if you have them away from home!!!

Us living in Florida, prefer these Crantini's over calling them Cosmopolitan's, since Florida is casual and citrusy. I also love the Sour Apple Tini's made with the mixer, instead of the liqueur and to use an unflavored vodka.

I celebrated my 50th with friends January 1rst. The original drink of choice for this party was Margarita's and everyone including myself was anxiously awaiting the party. I got blenders (2), glasses, mix and everything for my Christmas presents too boot! The week before I saw the Crantini recipe and bought everything to try it. I was in love, so at my party as people were arriving I handed them one to try. Needless to say.....The blender is still in the box and the Margaritas were never made. Crantinis were a hit and I am still enjoying them today. They are easier and taste better than anything else I have made. Yes, they are like a Cosmo, but it depends on the recipe you use and I prefer the name "Crantini" Ha Oh and for all who don't know me, I only liked beer before this drink. I served it with the OJ at the party, but have since switched to Triple Sec. Either way "It's a winner!"

I'm just suprised noone else notices this drink is a cosmopolitan. Just because you garnish with a cranberry doesn't mean you should change the name.
