Cranberry Tea

This is the first recipe that my mother-in-law gave me when I got married and has been a Thanksgiving and Christmas tradition ever since! The smell of the tea warms the whole house!

Ingredients

bag cranberries
2
cups water
1
cup red hot candies
1
can 6-ounce frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
1
can 6-ounce frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed
4
cups water

  • 1 Place cranberries and 2 cups water in a large pan. Cook until they pop. Place in a strainer with a bowl underneath and mash. Return mixture to pan and add 1 cup red hot candies and heat until melted on low heat, stirring constantly. Add lemonade, orange juice and 4 cups water. Simmer until heated.
