I made this for my daugthers Father-in-law who was 92 and he loved it, it was a big hit it went great with a cornbread stuffed pork loan and baked sweet potatos.make it every chance I can goes well with meatballs as well will bake meat balls and add to a double making of this chutney heat in a covered dish great for parties.

I like the basic recipe here but it is way too sweet for chutney. I would add a 1/4 cup of apple cider and a jalapeno or two minced. Cut back the white sugar to a half a cup.
