EXPERT TIPS

Expert Tips

Having an extra set of hands is especially helpful when pouring the sauce over the cereal so that one person can pour and one can stir.

Party stores carry cellophane bags in designs for all seasons. Keep these bags on hand to give Chex® mixes any time of year.

A friend recommended this mix last year. She said to double the syrup mixture-- I have been playing w/ that - I think maybe double all but the butter or margarine. We also like dried cherries sometimes instead of cranberries. and I used slivered almonds instead of sliced ones. Overall, very good idea and easy to make.

This is a huge hit with my family and friends. I have to double the recipe every time I make it. I substitute 2 cups of Honey Nut Cheerios for either the Rice or Corn Chex when making it.
