These scones were amazing! I used dried cranberries and less maple syrup and they tasted so good! My whole family loved them. I will definitely make these again.

I am a scone lover and these are by far the best I have ever made! I did change the recipe a bit by using Butter Pecan syrup instead of Maple(all I had), but I think that may be what made them so delectable! Everyone who tried them commented over and over on how delicious they were!

Good luck trying to knead this gooey mess! I put blueberries in it instead of nuts and cranberries. After 13 minutes in the oven, it was very brown on the outside and gooey in the middle. I put it back in till it was done. I would not make this ever again, sorry.

I was looking for a recipe calling for fresh blueberries as these were in season in the garden. Since there are no muffin recipies using Bisquick, I decided to adapt this scone recipe with fresh instead of dried fruit. It turned out great! I think it might be a too messy with frozen berries or fragile berries like raspberries, but worked out well with firm, fresh blueberries. I will make these again.

The scones were a bit dry and the bit of maple syrup is not enough to give them flavor. Maybe maple flavoring would help. They were just boring.

He didn''t know what a scone was until I made these - now he wants them all the time. I had to add a little water to the glaze bbecause I don''t use milk in my recipes - use Herbalife Vanilla Protein Drink Mix powder and water - lactose intolerant - it works great ! Perfect for a sweet treat that isn''t over the top.

When the word maple is used, we''re trying it! I used raisins instead of the cranberries and the scones were delicious. The recipe went together easily. I will definitely be making these often.
