Not your average salad. This is a vegetable salad that combines salty bacon and sunflower seeds with sweet craisins and a sweet and sour dressing, which makes the flavors AWESOME!

Bunch Cauliflower florets

Bunch Broccoli florets

Cup Sunflower Seeds

Cup Dried cranberries / Craisins

Sliced green onions

Pound Crisp, crumbled bacon
1/2
Cup Olive oil
1/2
Cup Sugar
1/4
Cup Apple cider vinegar
  1. Cook bacon until crisp, and crumble. There are some precooked bacon strips or crumbles that will work, and your time will be cut drastically.
  2. While bacon is cooking, cut the cauliflower and broccoli into small, bite-sized pieces. Cut the Green onions using the green portion of the onion.
  3. Toss the vegetables and Craisins.
  4. Mix the olive oil, sugar, and apple cider vinegar.
  5. When you are ready to serve, toss the vegetables with the sunflower seeds, bacon, and dressing.
