Quick, easy, healthy and good! Leftovers were already spoken for. I do bake the biscuits outside of the casserole as they tend not to get done all the way and then add them once baked and sprinkle cheese on top. I have found that the baked beans and BBQ sauce vary the taste alot depending on brand and style.

This is a regular at our house. I always alter the recipe a little, but I always have to at least double it. Last time it was a large can (28 oz) of baked beans and a 10 ounce can of ranch beans. Tonight it was a 28 ounce can of baked beans and a 10 ounce can of whole kerne corn (drained). I add other stuff to it, too. Sliced black olives, sliced mushrooms, chopped bell pepper, chopped onion, a tablespoon of mustard. I use any or all of these in any combination every time. When my elderly mother in law wouldn't eat what her daughter(my sister-in-law) had fixed for dinner, I took her some of this, she asked for seconds.

My whole family absolutley loved this!!! The second time I made it I added 8oz of mini smoked sausages cut into thirds. Once again everyone in my family loved it. I will definately be adding this to my monthly meal rotation for the family.

Just made tonight, and hubby loved! I noticed some people said it was too sweet, so I would suggest a little mustard or using regular bbq sauce and regular baked beans instead of special sweet varieties. I used bush's homestyle baked beans and sweet baby rays bbq sauce (award winning type). I also added an onion, some garlic salt, a little extra bbq sauce, and about 2 tbsp regular mustard. I used smaller spoonfuls of bisquick mix, and baked for 20 min. Turned out perfect!

All of my boys (ages 2, 4, and 43) liked this one -- gobbled it up with no complaints about cleaning their plates. I used my grocery store's meatloaf mix (beef, pork, and veal) rather than regular ground beef for a little more flavor. Also added about half a small bag of frozen corn with the baked beans and BBQ sauce. The corn gave the casserole a nice texture and I like to sneak in a few more veggies wherever I can. We'll definitely add this to our regular dinner rotation.

I fixed this casserole for my kids from the time they were 7 years old (now 30 and 31). It was something everyone would eat without complaining. Both kids begged me to find the recipe so they could now make it for their own kids. They still remember it and that's got to say something. By the way. When I made it, the recipe called for refrigerated biscuits....makes it even quicker.

Quick, easy and flavorful. We all loved it and will make it again! I often wonder about those people who use the word "bland" when describing a dish. Do they know the meaning of the word in terms of food? How could anything with BBQ sauce in it be "bland"? Sometimes I think it must be there own taste buds that are "bland".

Bland. I guess it's okay if that's all you have and just want to throw it together, but my cowboy needs a bit more...

I made this tonight and added whole kernel corn, more bbq sauce, 2 lbs of beef, and black beans instead of what the recipe said. The family LOVED it. easy to make and modify to fit your family. Will definitely make again!!

I have made this a few times and it turns out great every time I make it! It's a very simple recipe but with a nice bold taste.
