Hi, I have made this recipe several times and I always use SPAM, somehow the saltiness and softness of it really works and its super easy and convenient. My husband loves it, and he is a picky eater.

I've made this many times and my family loves it. I usually double the recipie. And sometimes don't add the potatoes or just very little. I don't steam the veggies in a steamer basket over the water, but use my microwave steamer in the same fashion. The ham is already salty so I don't add any extra salt, just pepper. Super easy.

OOPS- -this made me LOL- -it''s pretty hard not to have water touch the bottom of a saucepan! Thanks to your eagle eye and technology, the recipe is now correct.
