Country Sausage Gravy
Easy to make
lb mild or hot sausage
cups hot milk
salt & pepper
Slice 1lb sausage into patties and cook thoroughly in skillet.
Rmove sausage and drain on paper towel
Stir flour into drippings in skillet and cook for about 2 min.
Add milk,( heating milk ensures no lumps in gravy),and cook 5 min until thickened
Add additional milk if gravy is too thick
Serve with the patties over biscuits or potatoes or crumble sausage and add to gravy.
Season with salt and pepper to taste
