1: lb mild or hot sausage

4: tbsp flour

2: cups hot milk

: salt & pepper

Directions

1 Slice 1lb sausage into patties and cook thoroughly in skillet.
2 Rmove sausage and drain on paper towel
3 Stir flour into drippings in skillet and cook for about 2 min.
4 Add milk,( heating milk ensures no lumps in gravy),and cook 5 min until thickened
5 Add additional milk if gravy is too thick
6 Serve with the patties over biscuits or potatoes or crumble sausage and add to gravy.
7 Season with salt and pepper to taste

I had to add 4 more tbsp flour to get this to thicken up. Just an idea.
