Ingredients

lb mild or hot sausage
4
tbsp flour
2
cups hot milk
salt & pepper

  • 1 Slice 1lb sausage into patties and cook thoroughly in skillet.
  • 2 Rmove sausage and drain on paper towel
  • 3 Stir flour into drippings in skillet and cook for about 2 min.
  • 4 Add milk,( heating milk ensures no lumps in gravy),and cook 5 min until thickened
  • 5 Add additional milk if gravy is too thick
  • 6 Serve with the patties over biscuits or potatoes or crumble sausage and add to gravy.
  • 7 Season with salt and pepper to taste
