This is a good starter recipe because after making it I wasn't satisfied with the flavor. So, I added salt, pepper, dill weed, red bell pepper, crab meat and a little old bay. This significantly improved the flavor, without altering (too much) the low calorie content.

So good. Even my husband loved it. It needed more salt that asked for though. But I like salted seafood. So easy to make as well. I made extra bacon bits to top with and served it with beer bread. YUMMY!!!!

Yep, this one is pretty good!! However, I like my chowders to be a bit thicker, so I used some extra broth with corn starch and added it to the pot. Did the trick! This one will be a keeper for the simple fact that it has all my families favorites, AND it's super easy! :)

I was looking for a complementary dish for New Years Eve, and this recipe now has become one of my favorite dishes that I make anytime! It was easy to prepare (unless you don't get cleaned/deveined shrimp, then you have some work to do), and i used Zataran's Creole seasoning on the shrimp to give it a lil kick and wow! Also good for "any given Sunday" or comfort food fix. Enjoy!
