This cake is delicious, easy & very moist. I made it for my son's "cookie" birthday party and it was a hit. I did not have time to make icing, I used store-bought, so perhaps next time I will make the icing in the recipe. Most people were surprised there were cookies inside as they thought it was just chocolate chips. Very good, a big hit & will definitely make again.

I make it for my husband's birthday every year, and if I try to change to a different cake, he's very disappointed . He REALLY loves this one.

I have made this cake allot in the past. It is very moist and always a big hit at a family get together. I just made the cake using a sugar substitute and sugar free cookies for my grandmother and it was phenomenal. The sugar free items in my opinion increased the taste and the cake was even moister.

This is incredibly moist. I''ve made it numerous times, doubled the recipe and made it as a layer cake. I''ve also made it without the cookies in it, and everybody said that it tastes as good as a cake mix in the box. I''ve been trying for years to find a moist yellow cake recipe, and this one, made without the cookies, tastes just like that. My search is over for the perfectly moist yellow cake recipe.
