Here's a sweet gift for someone with everything. Place cookie cutters and fudge into cellophane gift bags, and tie with ribbons.

This was a lot easier than I thought it would be, I gave the fudge still in the ornaments out with cookie tins for christmas and everyone loved them and the fudge was yummy :)

I used the cookie cutter idea with my Mom's fudge recipe at Christmas time. So cute, the neighbors loved their cookie package even more this year with these in it. Just make sure you butter your cutters very well or a reindeer might end up with 3 legs instead of 4! Using cookie cutters with less detail would be a better idea. So fun to make.

I realize that this review is about 9 months late, but I got side tracked up until now. Since I am finally putting it in my cookbook. I thoroughly enjoyed making these last year. I had gone to the 99cent store and they were selling the large open metal cutters 2 to a package. I bought a lot of cutters, all different Xmas shapes. I quadrupled the recipe. I melted the ingredients in small batches, to fill 3 molds at a time. The warmth was good for just that amount to pour easily. Before I chilled them in the refrigerator, I decorated with the candies. Then after the chill, the icing. I used a more trusted icing that when it dried it was hard, not mushy. They turned out so pretty, and my daughter-in-law got a new set of Xmas cookie cutters (candy included). I gave them out to practically everybody, and they 'Wowed' the idea. "Thumbs up, Betty Crocker!"

I also have not yet tried the recipe (peanut butter fudge?), yet agree that the idea of cookie cutters, even if not included as part of the gift, is priceless. I'm so glad I subscribed to this site. Happy Holidays, y'all!

I loved the fudge. My Mom doesn't like peanut butter so I experimented with Butterscotch chips and she loved it. It made a great Mother's Day gift. My sister-in-law asked for the recipe immediately. I have brought some in to work to share and have gotten compliments here too. It is so easy and fast to make. Thanks for the recipe.
