Ingredients

1: 15 oz Ricotta cheese

1: egg lightly beaten

1: cup Parmesan

16: oz Mozzarella, shredded

16: oz lasagna noodles

16: oz ground meat

1: tablespoon Olive oil

1: cup chopped onion

3: cloves garlic, minced

1/2: cup chopped parsley

2: 28oz-cans diced tomatoes

1: 6-oz can tomato paste

2: teaspoons sugar

2: teaspoons dried basil

1: teaspoon dried oregano

1/4: teaspoon black pepper

Directions

1 1. Combine first 4 ingredients. Cook lasagna noodles as directed & set aside to cool.
2 2. In 5-qt dutch oven, heat oil, ground meat, onion, garlic & parsley 10 min til meat is browned.
3 3. Add remaining ingredients & bring to a boil. Reduce heat, simmer for 30 min.
4 4. In 11 x 13 x 2 in. pan, place 1 C sauce, then layer noodles, Ricotta mixture, sauce, then noodles til used up ending with noodles then sauce. Bake at 350* F for 50 min. Let rest 15 min. before cutting. Serves 12.
