EXPERT TIPS

Expert Tips

You can prepare this appetizer in a slow cooker instead of on the stove. Spray slow cooker with cooking spray before adding all ingredients. Cover; cook on Low heat setting 2 hours.

For a variation, use grape jelly instead of raspberry jam and spicy mustard in place of the chipotle chiles.

This simple recipe is great for a large party, as you can easily double or triple it.

I will definitely try this recipe. My family makes these with grape jelly and ketchup and they are so yummy! I'm sure the bbq sauce will be yummy as well!

Made these for a Christmas party appetizer and they were a hit! Quick to whip up and easy to leave simmering on the stovetop. Will definitely try tripling the recipe in my slow cooker for a party or potluck. They are a classic!!
