I'be made this so many times and have even addapted it to make beef pot pie when I have left over roasts. All I do is substitute the chicken broth with beef broth. Man does it taste good!

YUMMY!!! Very similar to mine except I make my chicken broth with Better than Bouillon & hot water and I like a small amount of sage in my filling. Pot pie just isn't pot pie without a nice flaky double crust! I also use canned mixed veggies sometimes in place of the thawed out frozen ones.

Another hit with the family! I am so so on most pot pies but loved this one. I added some broccoli that I had in frig. The sauce cooks up just right with mixture of veggies. Will make over and over and share.

Love this recipe!! My whole family loves it as well! It's easy and very tasty! Use Pillsbury pie crusts to save a ton of time. Also, I skip the foil. I don't find it necessary.

So good! I'm never making a different pot pie again! Super easy too. I used leftover turkey and Pillsbury refrigerated pie crusts. Make sure you seal the edges well or it'll bubble out the sides towards the end - I made this rookie mistake. I decided to cover the edges with foil (which is a huge pain) when there was 10 mins left because they were getting pretty brown, but I don't think it would've been bad if I hadn't. I probably won't next time. My boyfriend ate almost half the pie himself!

crust is difficult. I have never had a pie crust take me over 2 hours to roll out.

This recipe is fantastic. I shared it with friends and they were BEGGING for me to make more. My only complaint is that I seem to have a hard time getting the consistency of the crust right so that it doesn't break when I put the top crust on. I think it's because there's a range for how much water to use and maybe I'm not using enough or too much. Hard to say. Doesn't really matter because it turned out great anyway, even if I did have to stitch it together a bit with my fingers. Makes great left-overs! <3 My picky husband (who dislikes vegetables) absolutely adored it, veggies and all. Would definitely suggest to everyone!
