This is a classic cold-weather comfort food at my house; and if there's any leftovers and you have a microwave at work, stroganoff beats a cheese sandwich for lunch the next day!

This dish is great!! One word for it, HEARTY. It was a little thick so I added some more beef broth at the end when boiling. Also, I added carrots that I boiled and then simmered with the beef & parsley. It was very very good!! Will make again!

This dish was absolutely fabulous! I couldn't find Cream of Onion soup so I used French Onion soup. I used fresh mushrooms and a 16 ounce container of sour cream. Those are the only changes I made and it was not watery or too salty. It was nice and creamy and I will definitely make again. P.S. I found the Cream of Onion Soup the other day, so I may try it, the next time I make it to see what the difference is. Thanks for the recipe!

I was looking for possible recipes to use up some pork shoulder steak and decided on this one. So, instead of beef, this one had cubed pork shoulder steak. The pork came out much more tender than other ways I had cooked it, so that was a plus. I cut the sour cream in half, as suggested by other reviewers. I thought the recipe was outstanding and will definitely be making it again.

I have been making this recipe for years! Both sons request this whenever they come home to visit or we go to visit them! Easy, tasty and wonderful - can add some increased flavor with portabella mushrooms. For a real splurge - can use ends of filet mignon....YUM

Love this recipe but would use about 1/2 the sour cream. The sour cream flavor is a little much. My husband said it was the best stroganoff he's had.
