I always fix cookies from scratch, but decided to give this one a try. It was a big hit and I made it several times. This recipe is definitely a keeper. Thanks for sharing!

Such an easy recipe! Everyone loves these!! To save time I like to use store bought icing in a squeeze bottle, it's microwavable and taste just as wonderful as making your own icing!

Followed the directions exactly as stated and pretty much decided I would not make them again due to the fact that they were impossible to "roll" into a 5 inch log. The first batch was pretty much a blob of a cookie then I stuck the batter in the fridge in-between rolling out a log and would take it out as I was ready for the next. Kinda messy! They ended up being SUCH A HIT at our lakeside church fellowship that the Pastor's wife literally ran across the parking lot to grab me to ask me to get her the recipe. She said they were the best cookie she's ever had! After the rave reviews and the empty cookie container, I decided I will most definitely make them again! I will just make sure to refrigerate the dough a minimum of 30 min. to an hour before rolling it into the log. These taste AMAZING and were SO moist!!!

In the recipe the cookies looked delicious but the picture was deceiving. The dough was way too greasy and impossible to roll. They turned out looking like unpleasant lumps soaking in butter. I was planning on taking six dozen of these cookies to the Christmas social at work, but that would just be downright embarrassing. I had to buy already made cookies from the grocery store last minute. Let’s just say that wasn’t very classy at the Christmas social. I only used one stick of butter and one egg. I don’t understand why they turned out this awful. I am very distraught by how much time and ingredients were wasted on these horrible cookies.

The 1st time I made these they became everyones favorite! If I don't make these EVERY Christmas, I wouldn't hear the end of it!! Everyone I know who has tasted these cookies give them 10 out of 10! REFRIGERATE dough for 2 hours or you can even throw them in the freezer for a half hour (no longer than a half hour though!!) They are great soft like a real cinna-bun or even if they are left in for a few minutes longer and get crisper.

It is hard to get a sincere compliment from my mom on anything, but she loved these cookies, and brings them up whenever I plan to bake something.

I love to make cookies that look good as well as taste good. I never make snicker doodles because they look so borring. This is bascily a snickerdoodle that looks adorable. A little more work, but worth it. I rolled out snake shapes like the directions said. It gives it more of a cinnabun look I wanted. This will definitley get attention at a cookie exchange!

Messy to make, but will make again but in a jelly roll style. The most important thing is that my kids love them!

THE BEST(honestly)! I've made these countless times; once I set them out for people to eat, they are IMMEDIATELY gone. Everytime I see my extended family, they at least mention, if not beg me, to make these cookies. They're always disappointed when I come to family gatherings without them. Fool proof recipe. If you don't make these you are missing out. Delicious!
