Show your family you care with a streusel-topped homemade bread. No one needs to know your secret of how easy it was to make!
box Betty Crocker™ cinnamon streusel muffin mix
cup Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
cup vegetable oil
Heat oven to 375ºF. Grease bottom of 9x5-inch loaf pan with shortening, or spray bottom with cooking spray.
In medium bowl, stir Muffin Mix, flour, water, oil and eggs just until blended (batter may be lumpy). Spread batter in pan. Sprinkle with Streusel.
Bake 38 to 43 minutes or until top is golden brown and springs back when lightly touched. Cool 15 minutes. Run knife around edges of pan before removing; remove from pan. Cool completely before slicing, about 45 minutes.
For loaves with a gently rounded top and no “lipping” at the edges, grease only the bottoms of the loaf pans.
You can freeze baked breads up to 3 months.
