Cinnamon Roll Pancake Stacks I love this recipe! My son is a cinnamon roll fanatic and he loved them! I did change the amount of butter and brown sugar and powdered sugar. I used 1/4c of butter and 1/2c brown sugar and I only used 1c of powdered sugar and 1 1/4c of milk and a touch of vanilla for the icing! Great recipe new family favorite!

Made these for the family and everyone loved them! Next time I would cut the amount of butter for the cinnamon and brown sugar, it was a bit greasy and I had to pour out some of the butter.

I read the other reviews and, thus, made a small change to the recipe to make it less sugary. I used about half the amount of the butter and allowed it to melt with the brown sugar and the cinnamon in the microwave. Then I added some milk (didn't measure) to make the spread more smooth and to make up for the omitted amount of the butter. It came out fantastic and less greasy. For the frosting, I used smaller amount of powdered sugar (didn't measure it, but comes about 2-3 table spoons) with the same listed amount of "light" whipping cream. It tasted great! I gave this recipe 4 points because of the changes I made. I think I will make these pancakes again!

These proportions can't be right. 1 cup brown sugar and 1 tablespoon cinnamon dissolved in 1/2 cup butter? It didn't even come close to dissolving. It was just a gloppy mess that could not be served.

Waaaay too sweet! Brown sugar and powdered sugar and butter and whipping cream! Two bites was enough for me!! First bite tastes good; second bite tastes really sugary.

I made these for my husband this morning, and he just told me he got "sugar sick" before eating the whole serving. I think next time I would half the butter/brown sugar/cinnamon filling. Otherwise - very tasty. Just VERY VERY sweet!

These were AMAZING! We passed on the icing and used light butter for the sauce, but they were very similar to the Cinna-stack pancakes at IHOP. We will be making these again!

Good recipe but I was rather amused by the oxymoron of using the Bisquick Heart Smart mix and then adding butter, sugar, whipping cream, and other things that just MIGHT make it not-so-heart-smart. If you're going to make something with the Heart Smart mix, make the whole thing heart smart, not just the pancakes. Otherwise you might as well just use the regular mix. No difference in the flavor anyway.
