These taste wonderful, BUT... making them took three tries. Unless you refrigerate the dough for at least 15 minutes after cooking, you can't roll them.. they stick. Use lots of flour when rolling.

First off I rarely bake, so at 36yrs of age, I am sadly a beginner! In my first attempt to make these, I must say I learned(the hard way)that there is a HUGE difference between using softened butter and melted butter, enough said! Not a complete epic failure, but cookies they were not.We have lovely cinnamon cakey shapes that go lovely with a cup of coffee. My second attempt proved I am not a complete idiot and I can learn, I managed to make over 7 dozen cookies (Christmas cookie exchange) and the feedback I have received so far is worth my first failure attempt and the drive not to give up! I love these, they taste so good! Thank you so much for sharing and I look forward to "trying" new recipes. :<)

Made these tonight for Thanksgiving treats. Easy to make. My wife and I had to sample one. Oh my gosh are they good. They taste just like a cinnamon roll. If Santa wasn't keeping a list of who's naught and nice I might just might keep the for ourselves. Just kidding.
