Ingredients

1/4: cup sugar

1: teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4: cup butter or margarine

1 1/2: cups Corn Chex® cereal

1 1/2: cups Rice Chex® cereal

1 1/2: cups Wheat Chex® Cereal

1/2: cup raisins, dried cranberries or dried cherries

Directions

1 In small bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon; set aside.
2 In large microwavable bowl, microwave butter uncovered on High about 40 seconds or until melted. Stir in cereals until evenly coated. Microwave uncovered 2 minutes, stirring after 1 minute.
3 Sprinkle half of the sugar mixture evenly over cereals; stir. Sprinkle with remaining sugar mixture; stir. Microwave uncovered 1 minute. Stir in raisins. Spread on paper towels to cool.

My husband is on a diabetic diet. We have several other relatives that are diabetic. I have taken this to a couple of family gatherings. Diabetics and non-diabetics love this snack mix. Several nieces have even asked me for the recipe.
