When baking or cooking always use unsalted butter unless specified. You can always add salt if needed.

lets just say the first time I made these it wasn't a big hit. My suggestion, UNSALTED butter! The one thing everyone said about this were "These are kinda salty." Other than the 'saltyness" of it all in all it had a good flavor.
