cups Original Bisquick® mix
1 1/4
cups milk

teaspoons ground cinnamon
1
teaspoon vanilla
2
eggs
10
slices bread
Powdered sugar, if desired
Maple syrup, if desired

  • 1 Heat griddle or skillet; grease if necessary.
  • 2 In shallow dish, stir Bisquick mix, milk, cinnamon, vanilla and eggs until blended. Dip bread into batter; drain excess batter back into bowl. Place bread on hot griddle.
  • 3 Cook 1 to 2 minutes on each side or until golden brown. Sprinkle with powdered sugar; serve with syrup.

Made the first run as shown in recipe, the batter is really really thick. Added about a half cup more milk to the rest of the batter and it was perfect!!! Both versions tasted great, but the first was just a bit too thick, more like pancakes & bread sandwich!!! YUM!!!
