It was just ok. I think the problem is the recipie title is deceiving. It's called an apple crisp but the topping is not at all crispy. Maybe Cinnamon Apple Desert would have been better..........

this recipe is very good, and can use almost any fruit you like. when I use fresh fruit that's a little tart, I just sprinkle a little sugar over it before the crumble topping stage. this recipe is not crispy like the average apple crisp. if you want to it be crisp, try 1/2 cup of oats and omit the egg. experimenting with recipes is fun! enjoy...

This apple crisp was not an apple crisp. The top was like a thick batter and did not flavor the apples like it should have. maybe less butter or no egg will change it for the better.

I didn't like this one much. It did not seem like a "Crisp". The only part I enjoyed was the tart apple taste. Won't make again.

It wasn''t juicy enough. I used Northern Spy apples, which they tasted good but the crisp part just wasn''t what I was looking for.

I didn''t like this. The top is too cake like. Recipe says the mixture is crumbly, I followed the recipe exactly as it says but it was like a cake batter :~(

I thought it was good, but it is NOT your normal apple crisp. The crisp part of it is very cakey. But it tastes good
