In the recipe the cookies looked delicious but the picture was deceiving. The dough was way too greasy and impossible to roll. They turned out looking like unpleasant lumps soaking in butter. I was planning on taking six dozen of these cookies to the Christmas social at work, but that would just be downright embarrassing. I had to buy already made cookies from the grocery store last minute. Let’s just say that wasn’t very classy at the Christmas social. I only used one stick of butter and one egg. I don’t understand why they turned out this awful. I am very distraught by how much time and ingredients were wasted on these horrible cookies.

The 1st time I made these they became everyones favorite! If I don't make these EVERY Christmas, I wouldn't hear the end of it!! Everyone I know who has tasted these cookies give them 10 out of 10! REFRIGERATE dough for 2 hours or you can even throw them in the freezer for a half hour (no longer than a half hour though!!) They are great soft like a real cinna-bun or even if they are left in for a few minutes longer and get crisper.

It is hard to get a sincere compliment from my mom on anything, but she loved these cookies, and brings them up whenever I plan to bake something.

I love to make cookies that look good as well as taste good. I never make snicker doodles because they look so borring. This is bascily a snickerdoodle that looks adorable. A little more work, but worth it. I rolled out snake shapes like the directions said. It gives it more of a cinnabun look I wanted. This will definitley get attention at a cookie exchange!

Messy to make, but will make again but in a jelly roll style. The most important thing is that my kids love them!

THE BEST(honestly)! I've made these countless times; once I set them out for people to eat, they are IMMEDIATELY gone. Everytime I see my extended family, they at least mention, if not beg me, to make these cookies. They're always disappointed when I come to family gatherings without them. Fool proof recipe. If you don't make these you are missing out. Delicious!

I defiantly agree with mackenzie8701... put the dough in the fridge before trying to roll it out... i didnt and it was REALLY difficult. But I didnt even get the chance to put the icing on these because everyone ate them. They were a big hit!

These are so delicious! I put the dough in the fridge for about 45 mins and then I roll it out into a big rectangle sprinkle with cinnamon sugar. I flour my fingers & then roll it up into a long log. I put it back into the fridge for about 20 minutes. Then I slice the log & put the cookies on the cookie sheet. When the dough starts to get soft again I put it back in the fridge while the other cookies bake! Everyone I know who has tasted these have loved them. They are definitely a little bit time consuming.
