my fam loved it! Have a vegetarian teenager and the beans provide great protein source, very filling. I, too, added corn and the kids like to top with cheese and sour cream

We liked it but I made a few changes. I added kidney beans instead of chick peas. I replaced the seasonings with a half a packet of chili seasoning. I also added a can of corn.

I make this for my(vegan)daughter and she just loves it. I sometimes add more or different beans depending on mood and whats in the pantry. I also substitiute the seasonings with a packet of chili seasoning mix as it has everything in it with out having to measure. A tasty alternative to regular chili.

Easy to make and very tasty. I have made this for my daughter who is a very picky eater. She not only loved it the first time but has asked for it again. I have also made it in the crock pot for a no worry meal. I can start it mid morning and by early afternoon it is ready with out having to worry about the stove!

The recipe was only okay. I think it should be made a little spicer. I''d never had the chick peas before, and they were alright. I think maybe the black beans should be substituted with a different kind, like kidney beans?

Such a quick, convenient, scrumptious, and unforgettable meal! My family and friends are hooked. They put in requests weeks in advance. (Little do they know I whip it up in minutes!)

I have used this recipe many times, especially when my vegan and vegetarian sons are here to eat. I have added mushrooms and assorted other veggies to this and it always turns out good. I usually make it in the crock pot instead of the stove. I can mix it all up the night before, store in the fridge and then cook it the next day for several hours.
