I tweaked the recipe a little. I made pancakes instead of waffles. Because I didn't have cool whip (which is thicker) I used the boxed whipped topping. It was delicious. I love with 8 other women; one of which does not eat pancakes. Not only did she break down and try them, but she offered to finish the batter I had left over (I double the recipe) and had seconds. Definitely something I'll make again. Thanks Betty!

My daughter loves them with chocolate syrup instead of the caramel-banana topping. We store any left over waffles in the refrigerator and eat them cold for a sweet snack!

I made these for my boyfriend for his birthday breakfast and he loved them. I used the HeartSmart bisquick and the waffles still tasted great!

I have three kids and a husband who love chocolate. I omitted the caramel sauce and the bananas and instead put peanut butter on the waffles right when they came out of the iron. It was sort of like a peanut butter cup. My family loves this recipe!
