No wonder this is a bake sale winner! Devil’s food cake sandwiches caramel, pecans and, yes, more chocolate in the middle. Yum.

Wow! Only one word needed to describe this wonderful cake. I used dark chocolate chips sprinkled in the center, and just drizzled alittle caramel on top with the chopped nuts. Not too sweet either. Very, very good. Will be making it many more times. :-D

Even though it tastes great, the top layer was difficult to get to bake through in the middle no matter how much extra time i put on the time so in order to make sure it didn't burn i had to give up.

This cake is awesome in taste and is super easy to make! I top each piece w/Cool Whip, drizzle of chocolate & caramel sauce, sprinkle fine chop pecans and serve w/vanilla ice cream!

This cake is wonderful, and so easy to make. It's really awesome when either served warm, or warmed up and served with whipped cream or ice cream. Will make this one again!

I am going to make this cake for a Charity Fund Raiser Silent Auction. Do I leave the cake in the pan or turn it out onto a serving plate? I think I will frost with whip topping.Your comments and help are greatly appreciated.

This cake was great. I bought a 12 oz bag of caramels so I just cut down on the milk I added for filling. Worked great. The recipe was put in the make again file.
