Blogger Arlene Cummings of Cooking With Sugar shares a favorite recipe. These pancakes are a Saturday morning treat in our house. The hot chocolate melting out of the center makes them irresistible.

AH-Mazingggg! I just came across a different recipe on another website and wanted to see if betty crocker already had a recipe for it and of course they do! I just made regular bisquick pancakes as followed on the box and added a scoop of nutella in the middle covered with more batter, came out great!

My son and I had these for dinner tonight, and the were WONDERFUL! He said whoever thought of this recipe is a genius. I made them just as written, and had no issues at all! This one is a definite keeper!

These are my families’ favorite pancakes. My kid’s friends even request them when they sleep over. The amount of Nutella truly depends on the size of the pancakes you make. If you make big ones use more. If you make little ones use less. It's all a matter of personal preference. The Nutells may seem thick when you place it on top of the batter but once you cover it with a llittle more batter and flip them, the end result will be a warm chocolate center when you eat them. Enjoy!

These pancakes didn't come out like the picture at all.. The batter was too thick, so even doing 1/4c fulls they came out thick and in order to cook them fully, blackened both sides... Also the amount of hazelnut-cocoa spread was not enough, I would suggest warming the spread first before putting in the pancakes. Also possibly adding the warm spread to whipping cream or maybe sour cream, to give it the fluffy/creamy texture it has in the picture.. I'll try experimenting and I'll let you guys know.

These look wonderful and tasty. Just wanted to suggest adding bananas to the top as they go so well with both pancakes and nutella.

I have mixed feelings about these. I LOVE pancakes and I LOVE Nutella... haven't decided on this combo yet. I will agree that once I got to the stuffed goodness in the middle, they did seem almost TOO sweet. However, I had to use a non-Bisquick mix that was whole wheat - and I did not care for it. I am a die-hard Bisquick user, just didn't have any in the house when I made these on a whim. I will give these another try.... with Bisquick and instead of syrup, I think the fresh strawberries would be fantastic! Oh yea, the whole wheat pancake mix is going in the garbage!!!

Hi ladies. This is my recipe and when I make them I use about 1/2 teaspoon in each pancake for a medium size pancake. However there is no absolute measurement for this, its sort of a dollop depending on the size of the pancake. It spreads out and melts as it's heated. In this photo I made medium size pancakes. If you make real large pancakes feel free to add more than a 1/2 teaspoon, that is just a guide. :) Just give them a try. I think you will love them. My family does. Happy Cooking! Sugar
