With a cheesecake filling, chocolate drizzle and fresh raspberries, these devil's food bars are anything but basic!

This is a pretty good jumping off recipe, however it needs to adjusted just a bit. The raspberry flavor just doesn't come through the chocolate and cheesecake. I would suggest making this in a deeper baking dish, use the whole can of pie filling and adding either raspberry flavoring or raspberry liqour to the filling to amp up the flavor. Next time I would also drizzle some raspberry jam that I ran through a sieve to remove seeds on top along with the chocolate. I did add mini chocolate chips to the cake mix layer and that was really good.

I've made these bars many times, even sold them at my schools bake sale and they were a total hit. Highly recommend this for people who don't like a super thick layer of cheesecake

I substituted a can of the more fruit Cherry pie filling, and combined with about a half cup low sugar raspberry spread, and everyone at work absolutely raved about them!

These were delicious. I used strawberry instead of raspberry and they tasted wonderful and looked great. I ended up using chocolate chunks instead of chocolate chips, but I had to microwave them a lot longer so they would melt. Still delicious and they were a big hit!

I worked at an Assisted living facility type nursing home. I was the overnight baker/caretaker for my residents and these bars were a HIT everytime I made them. I would substitute the raspberries for strawberries or cherries at times. It never ceased to please my residents on bit and the staff loved them too.
