Great pie,,followed recipe as stated. I also found the same recipe on allrecipes.com except it called for 1/2 cup more of chocolate chips. When making this pie it's a good idea to have tart shells handy as I was able to make 5 tarts with the excess. Simply delicious.

MAKE THIS PIE! I screwd up the oven temp (not hot enough to start), so I cooked it a bit extra & it still came out wonderful. Served it chilled w/ whipped cream & my hubby loved it. He is SO hard to please! If it's good enough for scatterbrained cook like me and my picky husband, IT ROCKS!

I made this for Thanksgiving and a regular pecan pie. I had orders from my family to make two at Christmas and forget the regular pecan pie.

this pie was a #1 favorite dessert for my family last christmas and this year will be making it also for thanksgiving dessert.to make it extra good top it with whip cream or vanilla ice cream !.
