Orange chocolate is a favorite here in the Buffalo, NY area. Most of the chocolate shops here make their own version and I have to say that it is my favorite. This recipe sounds delicious and I think I will make it for my upcoming teachers' get together.

Very easy, totally awesome dessert! Made it for family Sunday dinner as a trial and everyone loved it! Will add it to my "potluck" list!

I was skeptical of oranges and chocolate but this was great! I used cheesecake pudding because that is what I had and it came out wonderful. I also used Special Dark Hotfudge topping instead of the chocolate syrup. Delicious and EASY! Thank you BC!

made this for baby shower - big hit - but with a couple small changes: used rasberries instead of oranges, and took the kraft kitchen tip and used white chocolate flavored pudding instead of vanilla. I let the syrup soak in a while before adding the next layers, and I "smooshed" them down after adding each one. Made it fairly easy to serve.

I used my trifle bowl and it was too small but the punch bowl is hidden away. I also used rasberries instead of orange and it was a hit. If done in the trifle bowl use the same amount of pudding.

Delicious! And Beautiful! I used part milk and part orange juice while mixing up the pudding to give it a little more orange zing. Mmmm.

I made this for our card playing day and everyone loved it and wanted the recipe. I would definitely make this again. Can't wait to try this using different fruit and cake flavors!

I haven't tried this recipe yet, but have the ability to envision the resulting taste. A lot of you don't care for the canned mandarin oranges. I'd say, switch to a regular navel orange, and, if it's an adult dish, soak the oranges in an orange liquor first. Another suggestion would be to use canned cherry pie filling, with or without a little added liquor. It would be like a Black Forest dessert. Thanks for the hint on the sugar-free aspect for diabetics!

I have a recipe like this except its made with angel food cake or yellow cake mix cut up into chunks and you use cherry pie filling and vanilla pudding with pineapple crushed or cubed drained, cool whip and 2 bananas, bake cake as directed except instead of water in the cake mix use the drained pineapple juice then you cut cake into cubes and start layering cake, pudding, cherry pie filling, pineapple ,bananas and cool whip continue layering until all used Then chill and serve its very good .
