I made these today for St. Patrick's day. Good cookie. Used 2 Cups flour. Chilled dough between batches. Used my thumb for print and reshaped afterward. Coming out of the oven I lightly pressed a Jr. Mint into the indent and then "pressed" out the wrinkles in the cookie. They look like the picture, round and puffy and green. The mint chip adds a nice touch with not much bother. The cookie is delicious!

Great cookies! I used 1/4 c. less flour and 2 tsp. peppermint extract. Yummy! I was putting together a tray for St. Patty's Day so I made a second batch using orange food coloring and orange extract, white chocolate and candied orange peel. Also yummy!

I wish I would have read the reviews also. The dough was crumbly for sure. I'll try it next time with 2 cups of flour.

easy to make.. but dough could be crumbly.. a tad less flour fixes this and helps with the cracking issue also.

This recipe was very easy to follow but I wish I would have read the other reviews before making them. Way too much flour! Nothing like biting into a delicious looking cooking that leaves the tastes of flour in your mouth...

I have made these several times including for my cookie exchange last year. They were a huge hit and pretty simple to make. I did have to use the chocolate Andes mint because I couldn't find the green ones in my area. Mine turned out just like the picture. Great recipe. Thanks

I loved these, but I think there is too much flour or not enough egg as my dough was so crumbly I had to add in more water to shape them into balls. They also cracked way more than the photo. Tip: I chopped up ande's mints for the topping and also drizzled more chocolate glazed to cover up all the cracking in the cookies.

I made these for my mom's birthday, because she loves mint chocolate stuff (& so do I)They were pretty good, but we didn't add the candies at the top. I think there was too much flour though, they tasted too dry & something wasn't right. I might try this again, but I will tweak the recipe a bit. Might have been a mistake I have made.

I made these cookies for Christmas and they were a big hit in my house as well as at the Christmas party they were sliding off the plates faster then the other sweet's the only thing was for me I added another half a spoon of peppermint to my batch they weren't peppermint-ish enough, but I would totally make them again.

I just made these cookies for a Christmas cookie exchange and I can't wait to share them tomorrow. The recipe was very easy to follow. The thumbprints do tend to diminish when baking, but the directions say to reshape the wells and that works fine. If you're in a hurry, you can save some time by putting in a Hershey's kiss instead of going to the trouble of melting chocolate chips and cutting Andes mints in half. Also I was able to eke out 90 cookies when I doubled the recipe.
