Ingredients

cup milk
1/4
cup chocolate-flavored syrup

scoops (1/2 cup each) vanilla ice cream

  • 1 In blender, place milk and syrup. Cover and blend on high speed 2 seconds.
  • 2 Add ice cream. Cover and blend on low speed about 5 seconds or until smooth. Pour into glasses. Serve immediately.

Expert Tips

For 1 gram of fat and 285 calories per serving, use fat-free (skim) milk; substitute fat-free frozen yogurt for the ice cream.

Substitute strawberry or cherry topping or frozen strawberries or raspberries in syrup, thawed and undrained, for the chocolate-flavored syrup.

Add 1 tablespoon natural-flavor or chocolate-flavor malted milk powder before blending.
