(0 Ratings)
Not only pretty, but delicious! Four decadent cake layers are filled to overflowing with creamy marshmallow frosting and drizzled with chocolate glaze.

First of all let me say that the cake looks great. But, after reading the directions, you must be out of your mind if you think that I am going to use an electric mixer in my saucepan!! Any other bright ideas for making the frosting? With regards, Dawn

I beat the egg whites till they almost peaked & I used less water then the recipe called for, I added it slowly till I got the right consistancy and I put 4 marshmallows in the microwave and added them to the icing. It made the icing just the right thickness. The cake was dry but everyone seemed to like it. I did! The chocolate frosting came out perfect! I used a serrated knife to cut the cake.It was alot of work and it made a BIG MESS however, I will try it again using a box mix and see how it comes out.

I followed the recipe to the "T" and the cake was very dry after 1 hour. There is no oil in this recipe so I believe that''s why it wasn''t moist it was very dry. The icing and marshmellow fluff was very good but I would use a different moister cake. Every one usually raves about my desserts but this one every one said... "I wouldn''t make this one again"

This was very tasty and my neice and nephew loved it. The marshmallow sauce was a little thin and ended up kind of messy. You may want to wait until the sauce cools a little and thickens up; it should be easier to put together that way. Otherwise - delish!

I made this cake for my daughter and she loved it. I added coffee crystals dissolved in a little bit of hot water to make a mocha filling instead.Very sweetand yummy.
