EXPERT TIPS

Expert Tips

The secret to cutting bars easily is to line the pan with foil. Just lift out after baking and cut. Spray the foil for best results.

To make drizzling the chocolate easier, put the melted chocolate in a small resealable food-storage plastic bag. Snip off one corner of the bag; squeeze to drizzle.

These bars were absolutely delicious!!! Chocolate drizzle is optional. Just the right balance of banana and chocolate. My husband took these to work and they gobbled them up. I'll be making another batch of these bars for my brother. ;-)

I made these because I had left-over bananas and wanted to try something different. They weren't bad. The kids weren't crazy about them so it was mostly the dad and me eating them. I didn't hang on to the recipe because I would much rather go back to making banana bread with my ripe bananas.

I used two ripe bananas and one very ripe banana and lots of nuts. The chocolate was too thick to swirl, but the end result was amazing. got lots of raves - the blend of chocolate, banana and nuts just kept everyone asking for the recipe!
