Ingredients

1: box Betty Crocker® SuperMoist® butter recipe chocolate cake mix

3/4: cup chocolate milk

1/3: cup butter, melted

3: eggs

1: container (8 oz) sour cream

1: package (4-serving size) chocolate fudge instant pudding and pie filling mix

1: bag (12 oz) semisweet chocolate chips (2 cups)

Rich Chocolate Glaze

3/4: cup semisweet chocolate chips

3: tablespoons butter

3: tablespoons light corn syrup

1 1/2: teaspoons water

Directions

1 Heat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pan). Generously grease and lightly flour 12-cup fluted tube cake pan, or spray with baking spray with flour.
2 In large bowl, mix cake mix, chocolate milk, butter, eggs, sour cream and dry pudding mix with spoon until well blended (batter will be very thick). Stir in chocolate chips. Spoon into pan.
3 Bake 56 to 64 minutes or until top springs back when touched lightly in center. Cool 10 minutes in pan. Turn pan upside down onto cooling rack or heatproof serving plate; remove pan. Cool completely, about 2 hours.
4 In 1-quart saucepan, heat glaze ingredients over low heat, stirring frequently, until chocolate chips are melted and mixture is smooth. Drizzle over cake. Store loosely covered.

You don’t want to lose even a drop of this divine batter, so measure the volume of your fluted tube cake pan using water to make sure it holds 12 cups. If the pan is smaller than 12 cups, the batter will overflow during baking.

For a milder chocolate flavor, use milk chocolate chips instead of semisweet.

This was one of the best cakes ever. My family ate the whole cake in one day. It was so moist and so very easy to make. So easy in fact that my 8 year niece actully made the cake I just watched over the measurements. If you love chocolate then this is the cake for you.

This recipe is AMAZING. Very easy to make and delicious. When we made it we left it out to long to cool and the outside got a little hard so make sure you wrap it unless you plan to serve it the same night. Don't worry if the top of the cake isn't perfect when it comes out of the pan because the glaze covers it :D Have fun making it!
