EXPERT TIPS

Expert Tips

Keep a can of frozen orange juice concentrate on hand for quick additions to yogurt smoothies, cottage cheese and even oatmeal. Another idea: Stir frozen orange juice concentrate into vanilla ice cream for that “orange cream” flavor.

Hidden under the fuzzy skin of a kiwifruit lies beautiful, brilliant green flesh with edible black seeds. Choose plump, undamaged kiwifruit that yield to slight pressure when ripe.

If you needed dessert in 5 minutes this is fun. Kiwi isn't in season- so I did a quick switch up... I just used a Yoplait® (piña colada) as the base. I used Pre-cut pineapple as the fruit. Melted chocolate in the micro (2 minutes- stir every 30 seconds for the topping. Yum!

I thought this was fun to do on a weeknight. It was good, too! But I probably wouldn''t make it again.
