Storage tip
Put a lid on it! Biscotti best retains its crispness when stored in a tightly covered container.
Substitution
Instead of melting 2 ounces of semisweet chocolate, melt 1 ounce of semisweet and 1 ounce of white chocolate. Dip cookies in a bit of each, then swirl chocolate coatings with a toothpick for a marbled design.
