Not sure what I did wrong... But this recipe turned out absolutely horrible for me. I bake quite a bit too! It was very dry and not very sweet at all.

yummy! I got a stand mixer for my B-day and wanted to make muffins from scratch. I chose these. I used regular milk, unbleached flour and 1/2 cup brown sugar and 1/2 cup white sugar. It turned out great!

i tried the recipe they were very tasty and moist but i did add 1/2 cup white sugar to it becoz batter was not sweet as required. i added sugar, recipe needs a add a bit sugar to it with brown sugar and i used milk instead of buttermilk and all purpose flour instead of whole wheat flour. they were too good i will make them again for sure

The first time I made these, everyone who came over to my house devoured them and I ended up sharing the recipe on Facebook. I used milk with lemon juice the first time instead of buttermilk. I will make them again for an Easter brunch tomorrow, but plan on using buttermilk this time. Hope they turn out as well!

yummy hot out of the oven! I added 1 cup whole wheat and 3/4 cup white flour and I did add about 1/4 cup sugar 1/2 tsp cinnamon. The extra sugar made the batter a little less thick and easier to manage. I also used jumbo muffin tins with same baking time. They are more like a healthier Costco muffin -- my kids love them!

I used the juice of 1 lemon and the rest of milk instead of the buttermilk, and baked them for 18 minutes. They are delicious!!

Really great! I didn't have any buttermilk so I used a substitute but still great! I will most definitely make these again.
