EXPERT TIPS

Expert Tips

To make Chocolate Truffle Frosting, use semisweet chocolate chips and Betty Crocker® Rich & Creamy chocolate frosting.

If you have only one pan and a recipe calls for more cupcakes than your pan will make, cover and refrigerate the rest of the batter while baking the first batch. Cool the pan about 15 minutes, then bake the rest of the batter, adding 1 to 2 minutes to the bake time.

These cupcakes were amazing! Made them for a BBQ with friends and family, and everybody loved them. I had a lot of left over frosting though...so next time I think I'll buy 2 boxes of cake mix. Also, I think I might try mixing in some marshmallow fluff with the frosting to make it a little creamier. But even if you make them the way the recipe calls for...they're still GREAT!
